Our story
From a Sunshine Coast market stall to a place in the Fat Wren Farm pantry. Here's how Life's Good came to be, and where it's headed next.
From a Sunshine Coast market stall to a place in the Fat Wren Farm pantry. Here's how Life's Good came to be, and where it's headed next.
Where it all started
Life's Good Curry Pastes was born from a simple passion: sharing the fresh, authentic flavours Sam and the family discovered travelling through South East Asia, India and Europe. Back home on the Sunshine Coast, that passion became jars.
Every paste made by hand from natural ingredients, gluten free and dairy free, with no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. The whole idea was to make a genuinely good curry as easy as opening a jar, without cutting one corner on flavour.
From a kitchen experiment to a Sunshine Coast staple and into a new chapter.
Where it began
Sam and the family start Life's Good, bottling the fresh, authentic flavours they fell for travelling through South East Asia, India and Europe. Made by hand, gluten free, dairy free, nothing artificial.
Building a following
The range grows into Chilli Jam, the Chilli Hero Sambal, relishes and pickles. You'd find Sam at the markets most weekends, from Eumundi to the Caloundra Street Fair, with jars heading home right across Australia.
April 2020
Every favourite paste gets a plant-based version, with vegan recipes to match.
Today
Life's Good joins Fat Wren Farm, a fellow Sunshine Coast family business making handcrafted preserves since 2007. The recipes carry on, and online orders now go through the Fat Wren Farm store.
Meet Fat Wren Farm
So who's looking after Life's Good now? Fat Wren Farm is a family business that started back in 2007 and has grown into an award-winning maker of handcrafted preserves: jams, chutneys, relishes, sauces and balsamics, all Australian made in small batches.
These days they cook on the Sunshine Coast, the same corner of the world Life's Good calls home, which is a big part of why this felt right. Same values, same hands-on, small-batch way of doing things, same belief in real ingredients and nothing artificial.
The good news: the food doesn't change. The pastes, sambals and chilli jam you love are still made the same way.
The only difference is where you find them.
All online orders now go through the Fat Wren Farm store, where you can shop the full range and have it shipped Australia-wide.
